How a timber wholesaler's warehouse was revolutionised with multidirectional sideloaders, to boost storage capacity, selectivity, and worker safety
In this talk, Buckley Stevenson shares how Hubtex Australia helped a timber wholesaler client to overcome storage capacity limitations, selectivity issues, and costly product damage concerns in their existing warehouse. Using Hubtex multidirectional sideloaders, the client was able to improve worker safety while increasing their storage capacity and optimising their warehouse operations.
About Buckley
After moving to Australia from his native NZ in 2006, Buckley has worked in the industrial products and warehouse materials handling sectors at both a regional and national level. During that time, he gained a broad knowledge of manufacturing and warehousing in the Australian marketplace. In 2014 Buckley joined Hubtex Australia as State Sales Manager for Queensland, and over the last nine years has seen success with a broad variety of customer types. While predominantly involved in the steel, timber and narrow aisle pallet warehouse space, Buckley has also enjoyed working with customers in many different industries to find storage and handling solutions to maximise their efficiency, warehouse utilisation and safe handling of product.
Looking to the future he is excited about the new automated handling systems and equipment that are under development and is looking forward to working with industry to implement these cutting edge solutions.
